Partnership: Get Spring Ready with Sapphire Pakistan

They say ” Spring is nature’s way of saying Lets party”. And rightly so ! After a brief , yet extremely cold and dry spell of winters, the days are finally becoming warmer and sunnier. The layers are off, gym memberships are getting renewed, coffee runs have been replaced with dessert hangs and retail racks are making way for easier breathable fabrics. When it comes to wardrobe planning though, things get a bit tricky ; you’re not entirely sure when to finally bid adieu to the knitwear and coats and pull out your fancy 3 piece jorras – a sudden transition to lawn seems extreme and you need  couple of everyday pieces that will do the job for trans-seasonal dressing.

Its nice to see then that for those of us who are early adopters , Sapphire Pakistan has recently launched, not one, but two back to back collections . The first was their Intermix collection – a well-balanced collection of unstitched 2-piece and 3-piece outfits, which are perfect for everyday, office wear or slightly formal occasions. With this line, I believe the retail giant has been a bit more experimental with it unstitched line, catering to a wide spectrum of its female customers ; from silk dopattas to cotton net ones, bright and beautiful patterns to subdued pastels, formal 3 pieces with embroideries to no-fuss simpler outfits ; there is literally something for everyone. To me, the best part is that you can choose buy the individual pieces too , instead of the complete outfit. Cool , right?

I partnered with the Brand recently to style some of my favourite pieces from both lines (if you follow me on instagram, you would have stumbled upon these already) but lets discuss in detail here – shall we :) Lets go :

This 3 piece Jorra comes at a great price of Rs 2490 only. I loved the fact that it makes for a very versatile outfit – you can dress it up or dress it down easily.

This blue Mogul /Turkish motif print was easily a favourite at first sight. You can have it stitched in Angrakha style and pair with culottes to amp up the style quotient. Priced around Rs 1690, this is a no brainer !

The Luxury Satin Silk collection, which launched this past weekend, is such a respite from the usual Silk collections that we have gotten used to in the past ; the usual formal lines can be a bit much with their jarring prints, patties , embroideries and heavy dopattas – not to mention the hefty price tags that they come with. This one, on the other hand, serves a larger age bracket, and finds more practicality / usability in the long term (think ladies lunch or formal dinners). It features a wide range of fabrics (digital printed charmeuse silk, chiffon and silk dopattas) in florals, organic elements, geometric patterns & architectural elements. The price range is pretty decent (Rs 3,400 – 4,600) too, which makes it all worthwhile.

Here’s two of my favourites from the collection worn with Gharara pants :

You can now find both collections in stores now or on their website. Happy Shopping yougaizz 😀
