Dressing for transitional weather

Growing up, I always found dressing up for fall to be a painstakingly difficult process. October is that time of the year , especially in Isloo, when theres a slight chill in the air, with pleasantly warm and sunny days and relatively colder nights ; its not entirely lawn season, and its not time to unpack the coats and boots yet either. Retail stores haven’t yet launched their complete Winter/ Fall collections, and its really just so difficult to put up a look together while staring at your closet every single morning ! Total confusion …

Thanks to a lot of online shopping lately, I’ve finally figured out the magic trick to Fall fashion…. *Drum rolls please*…..basically, sticking to western wear and mixing high-end with high street would have you ready for literally any occasion. A good strategy to go about it is to get a lot of formal blouses / Tops (even if they are short kurtas / tunics) and just keep mixing and matching with jeans / pants . The idea is to have lots of mix season separates, that you can play around with , both in terms of colors and silhouettes.

Here’s a recent look of mine for y’all to see what I mean.

I partnered with this luxury goods website, DIBs ( http://dibs.pk/ ) for it, and ordered this sturdy GUCCI tote and scarf to finish off the look. I mean , lets be honest, I am reallllyyyy not a brand baby , but a nice luxury tote , or a pair of sunglasses can reallllly take your look from ‘meh’ to ‘whose that girl’. For those of you who haven’t heard of the website before, DIBS is basically an e-commerce marketplace, Pakistan’s first and only high-end luxury product platform. All the products on the website are original, 100% authentic and shipped from abroad and come with an authenticity card , so you don’t have to worry about that. I loved the fact that I didn’t have to contact unknown facebook pages (who would takes ages to get your order delivered, and charge a hefty fee for their services too). This is luxury goods delivered at your step in 2-3 days with no human interaction (notice how anti-social I am. lol). Check out their website and facebook page below to know more: http://dibs.pk/ , https://www.facebook.com/dibs.pk/
