If you stuffed your face with pizza this weekend and the jeans felt a tad tight this morning, you are not alone (I have no regrets!). You’re also definitely not alone if your membership to the fancy new gym that you spent precious bucks on is now expired without being utilized, even once. Shit happens, we get it. But if you are in no mood to spend more money on the latest trendy fitness class because let’s be honest you are broke but also want to rock a crop top at your best friend’s wedding, here are the five best workouts you can do from the comfort of your own room. All you need is Wi-Fi and a yoga mat. You’re welcome.

1. Ballet Beautiful

Former ballerina Mary Helen Bowers of Ballet Beautiful trained Natalie Portman for the Black Swan. She has since developed a workout inspired by ballet which is loved by the likes of Gigi Hadid, Candice Swanepoel and other Victoria Secret Angels. Need more convincing? The workouts are low impact but highly effective for sculpting, toning and tightening and require nothing but a yoga mat (sometimes not even that). Personally, I am a BIG fan of the swan arm series. 2. Fitness Blender

Let the cute husband and wife duo teach you Pilates and answer all your fitness queries on their Youtube channel. Workouts range from 10 minutes to full one hour sessions but it is going to be difficult not to be distracted by the trainer’s beautiful voice. 3. Popsugar Fitness

Dance like Beyoncé or do metabolism boosting, fat burning cardio workouts that your favourite Hollywood celebrities love with Popsugar Fitness videos available on their Youtube channel for free: https://www.youtube.com/user/popsugartvfit . I have to admit the trainers all sound so chirpy and upbeat while you feel like stabbing yourself but don’t let that get in the way of the greatness that your body is going to look like post workout. POWER THROUGH!

4. Hip Hop with Danielle Peazer

If you want to keep your workouts fun and fast paced but are short on time most days, you will love the hip hop dance inspired workouts by Danielle Peazer. The workouts are short (so no excuses!) and can be combined for a longer sweat session or done individually for a quick workout before you head out. My favourite place do these is the kitchen while I microwave my pizza.

5. Bikini Body Guide by Kayla Itsines

This is not for the light hearted. Even if you start with the beginners guide (available for download online), this one requires serious commitment. I might or might not have cried during the first week of training (whatever). The Aussie Instagram star rose to fame after the images of women shedding pounds within as much as four weeks of using the BBG guides started going viral. The BBG guide builds muscle and strength over a period of 12 weeks and only requires weights and a jump rope.

Quick reminder to be sure to check with your doctor before starting any exercise if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or injured. Drink lots of water and don’t forget to stretch before and after all your workouts.
